Recipe: Basic Sugar PUSSY Cookies

Ingredients:

2/3 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour

1. In a medium bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds till smooth. Add sugar and baking soda. Beat until combined then beat in egg and vanilla. Mix in the flour. Cover; chill for one hour or until dough is easy to handle.

2. Preheat oven 375º F. On a lightly floured surface roll a portion of the dough out until it is about 1⁄4 inch thick. Cut dough using cookie cutters, spoon or knife into vagina like shapes. Use your imagination. Place the pussies on an ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate with sprinkles, or colored sugar.

3. Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm and bottoms are very lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute. Transfer cookies to wire racks, cool.
